We begin the tour with hotel pick-up from accommodations located in Arequipa’s historic center. From there, we start our exploration of some of the most representative attractions of the White City.
Plaza de Armas of Arequipa
Our first stop is the Plaza de Armas, widely considered one of the most beautiful and important plazas in Peru. It serves as the historical and social heart of the city.
Here, you will learn about the founding of Arequipa and its importance during both the colonial and republican periods.
Arequipa Cathedral
Next, we admire the magnificent Arequipa Cathedral, one of Peru’s most important religious monuments. Its elegant white volcanic stone architecture and privileged location overlooking the plaza make it one of the city's most recognizable landmarks.
Church of the Society of Jesus
We continue to the Church of the Society of Jesus (Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús), considered one of the finest examples of Mestizo Baroque architecture in Peru.
Its intricate carvings in volcanic stone showcase the artistic and cultural influences that shaped Arequipa during the colonial era.
Santa Catalina Monastery
We then visit the famous Santa Catalina Monastery, one of Arequipa’s most iconic attractions.

Return to Arequipa
