We begin the experience with pickup from your hotel in downtown Puno. We then transfer to the port to board our boat and begin exploring the waters of Lake Titicaca.
7:30 AM | Navigation on Lake Titicaca
We begin our journey across the world's highest navigable lake while enjoying beautiful views of the Andean highlands and observing the daily lives of communities living along its shores.
8:15 AM | Uros Floating Islands
Our first stop is the famous Uros Floating Islands, built entirely from totora reeds.
During the visit, you'll learn how these communities have preserved their ancestral way of life for generations and discover the techniques used to build and maintain the artificial islands.
Local residents will share aspects of their culture, traditions, and daily activities, offering an authentic and enriching experience.
9:30 AM | Navigation to Taquile Island
After visiting the Uros Islands, we continue our journey toward Taquile Island.
Along the way, you'll enjoy panoramic views of Lake Titicaca and appreciate the vast Andean landscapes surrounding the region.
11:00 AM | Arrival at Taquile Island
Upon arrival, we begin a moderate walk along traditional pathways surrounded by agricultural terraces and spectacular lake views.
During the walk, you'll learn about the island's history and the traditions that have allowed the community to preserve a unique way of life in the Andes.
12:00 PM | Taquile Community
We visit the main square and different sectors of the island while learning about the community's social organization and traditional textile techniques for which Taquile is internationally recognized.
The textiles produced by island residents have been recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and represent one of the most important cultural expressions of the Andean highlands.
1:00 PM | Traditional Lunch
Enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with local ingredients while taking in the breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca.

2:00 PM | Free Time and Photography

We begin our return journey across the waters of Lake Titicaca.
